I need a simple website built
the website needs to have the ability to increase to e-commerce at some point in the near future. this is a paying job and I need someone serious to do this. Can anyone local here do it, or recommend somebody else?

How simple does it need to be?
You could come to me (as in my company) and see how it goes from there but I guess it all depends on your budget. We've been trying to cater to a different budget range recently and may be able to help.
Hit me up later if you're interested.

Re: I need a simple website built
Used to be a web developer until the end of the dot com era, only thing I can say is there is no such thing as a simple website, if you want e-commerce that means a heavy back end. Also unless you do the complete design yourself you won't get much of a say with how it looks.
Best thing to do is find a company that builds websites and pay for a professional job. If you want just a splash page then you can probably do it yourself with a WYSIWYG like Dreamweaver (assuming it still exists)
